Maybe You Think You're Cool by Richard Middleton

You lied as a child
This hasn't stopped
For those you hurt and
For those you hurt yet.
Maybe you think you're cool
You're just a bloody fool

You've taken drugs
No crack regrets, but
Flashbacks beckon for
Those you still hurt, yet
Maybe you think you're cool
You're just a bloody fool

You've spat in the faces
Of parents and lovers
They're still wiping away
The tears for another
Maybe you think you're cool
You're just a bloody fool.

When you grow up
It'll be too late
For the damage you've caused
And the grave that you meet
Maybe you think you're cool
I'm just a bloody fool.
